They discussed what they had given up to get there as they tossed their lines into the ocean.”You have no idea what I did this weekend to be able to go fishing with you,” remarked the first man.
I told my wife that I would paint the entire house on Saturday. To demonstrate that they knew how difficult it was to compromise with their wives, the other guys nodded.The third man,
listening intently, shared a story of his own. It’s easy for you both, he told them. “I made my wife a promise that I would completely remodel the kitchen.”Even though I know it will be a lot of work, I had to come fishing with you guys.”They turned to face the fourth man who had remained silent as they continued to fish.
“You haven’t said anything about what you had to do to be able to come fishing this weekend?” the boys finally caved in to. What is happening?The fourth guy had a cunning smile on his face when he revealed his secret. He started, “Well, I just set my alarm for 5:30.”
I asked my wife, “Fishing or S**?” after turning off the clock and giving her a gentle shove when the alarm went off. Do you still recall her words?
“Swathe up.”The other guys let out a chuckle as they realized how cunning he was for taking a fishing excursion. Not everything goes according to plan when you make a clear-cut, uncomplicated decision.
