Notwithstanding the fact that their work is among the most important and demanding in our country, a lot of people feel they are underpaid.Recently, a KFC location in Ohio made the decision to join in as well. The store’s posting of the notice sparked a number of internet responses.
It’s possible that many of you are aware of the veterans discount. We live in a safe and law-abiding society because of the men and women who make up the police force.Many believe they are underpaid, even though their work is among the most significant and challenging in our nation.A KFC restaurant in Ohio has decided to take part as well. Numerous comments were made on the store’s notification on the internet.
Many questioned if it was really necessary to make this offer to the cops. Additional comments suggested that they would rather not receive special treatment and would even cover the cost themselves as an officer. Administrators of Facebook pages comment:Although some of you are unable to see the wider picture, this is a positive topic. As an officer, whether I’m in uniform or not, I never walk into a business expecting to get anything for free. Other officers have a similar sentiment. We object to “special treatment.” The post was made because KFC is recognizing law enforcement. To those who said that recognition should also go to other first responders. My response? Without a doubt.The sign will not be removed from its location within the store.
